MMC is conducting this project along with partner organization ARTICLE-19, BNNRC and SUPRO. The project has different dimensions of activities focusing on the Right to Information (RTI) issue of Bangladesh. MMC is specifically dealing with the media part of the project besides providing support for the activities of other project partners. Besides, MMC has involved 36 local partner organizations for conducting the field-based activities smoothly. Location within the Country: 12 Costal Districts; i.e. Barishal, Patuakhali, Vola, Borguna, Pirojpur, Jhalokathi, Satkhira, Khulna, Bagerhat, Noakhali, Feni, Laxmipur. * All 64 districts of the country are included under Grassroots Women Journalist Fellowship Program and FoE (Freedom of Expression) reporting process Donor: DFID Duration: April 2007-August 2010 Goal: - The project aims to promoting effective realization of Bangladeshi people’s rights to information to foster greater government accountability and increase poor people’s participation in public policy making processes to accelerate poverty eradication.
- The project also aims to facilitate change in culture and capacity of public officials to improve the supply side of information and under the project there is scope for providing training to public officials on RTI issues.

- Conducting mini studies
- Arranging meet the people program
- Making documentary
- Providing fellowship to local and national level journalists
- Providing fellowship to grassroots women journalist fellows
- Preparing yearly FoE report
- Conducting training of government officials on RTI issues
